Tanjung Batu is one Probably The Most Inaccessible and wild stretch of coastline on the northern coast of Borneo, between Bintulu and Miri. It's a unspoiled and, arguably so, a very beautiful place. Strong Currents and Storm Tides tear at the rock face, the resulting in a constant change of Aspect. This unique feature happens to be the attraction to Tanjung Batu Beach (Which is also how the name is given, "Rocky Isthmus"). It is a place YogyakartaT people in Bintulu are solely for way JOG and stroll along the beach, or the road with are solely for families, apart from taking a sun-tanning session.
One cans reach the area via the Tusan best Cliffs, on a branch road from the coastal Miri-Bintulu road. From there one has to wade through a river, and hike along the coast southwards for ca. 45 minutes. This can be be done only at low tide, as the path leads along the shoreline.
